Feasibility study of Disabled Children from BME community
Yorkshire Trust, in partnership with Social Services, DRC and Rotherham Partnership commissioned a feasibility study of disabled young people from the BME community, on the nature of the disability gaps in services. This was carried out by Urban Solutions. Yorkshire Trust recruited the development staff member and was able to provide services to disabled children and their carers and parent networks. Around 45 carers are registered on our database. The project is mainstream next year from 1st April managed by R.M.B.C.in house with the transfer of staff members.
